Anthro Bird Sketches

This took a stupidly long time to do.
It is really hard not to let mood-at-time-of-post influence the uploader comment section, because I am not in a great mood and I could say some stupid stuff about this picture because of that. But overall I'm really pleased with how this came out compared to a lot of other avian sketches I've done in the past.

Deciding on a design for a bird character can be one of the hardest things if they are not a specific bird species. The styles that birds can display are seemingly limitless, and a lot of them are really interesting. I only really played around with one eye design here. Let alone the rest of the body!

Wing-arm versus hybrid, versus no-wing, versus arms-and-wings, etc. is a different problem entirely I'm not going to deal with right now.
